(THE DRAW) Basic Pistol Progression Course for newer shooters was designed to give the student a set of solid handgun fundamentals. Every course instructed at Sierra Element starts with the proper mindset. The course concentrates on the 7 elements of marksmanship, balancing speed, accuracy and drawing a pistol from the holster. 

Instruction covered but not limited to:

• Firearms Safety
• Marksmanship drills
• Drawing and shooting a pistol from the holster 
• Malfunction drills
• Timed drills
• Care and cleaning

Equipment Needed:

• Pistol at least 9mm in caliber
• Magazine pouch
• Three magazines
• Holster (NO SERPA HOLSTERS ALLOWED)
• Eye and ear protection
• Pistol cleaning gear/lube
• 250 rounds of ammunition
• Baseball hat or boonie style cover
• Water and snacks
• BDU style pants (NO shorts please)
