Course description:
Tactical Tracking Techniques was developed to give the student a solid foundation for tactical tracking. Every course we instruct we start with the proper mindset. We focus on the core fundamentals of tracking and cammouflague.
Subjects covered but not limited to:
- Tracking overview
- Equipment Selection
- Rules of Tracking
- Dynamics of a footprint
- Identification of action indicators
- Tracking indicators
- How to determine the age of a spoor and sign
- How to re-locate lost tracks
- Individual camouflage techniques
- Individual tracking techniques
Equipment needed:
- Baseball hat or boonie style cover
- Sunglasses
- BDU style uniform
- Boots
- Gloves
- Knife
- 3 day assault pack
- Note book pencils/pens
- 1 pair extra socks
- Canteen/camel back
- Lunch
- Water
- Insect repellent
Optional Equipment:
- Knee pads
- Sunscreen
- Optics
- Sniper veil
Cancelation Policy:
When you sign up for a class, your credit is good for up to one year from the original class date as long as you notify us at least ONE WEEK in advance that you cannot attend the class. Those who have not given us at least ONE WEEK of notice or do not show up at the class will lose their credit.
Transferring Credit - If you purchase a class and cannot attend, with at least one week’s notice we will hold that credit for you for up to one year.
