Rough Terrain Pistol Course ($250) Intermediate/Advanced Level (Certificate awarded upon sucessfull completion)

The Rough Terrain Pistol Course is designed to give the student a set of solid handgun fundamentals and last resort combatives while operating in rough terrain. Every course instructed at Sierra Element starts with the proper mindset. The course concentrates on the 7 elements of marksmanship, balancing speed and accuracy under stress.  This course will challenge shooters of all levels as we cover techniques that are currently being used in US and Foreign Law Enforcement/Military units.  THIS COURSE IS PHYSICALLY DEMANDING. ALL STUDENTS MUST BE IN GOOD PHYSICAL CONDITION AND ABLE TO RUN AND CARRY SMALL LOADS.   

Instruction covered but not limited to:

• Verbal communication
• Team drills
• Engaging targets in vegetation
• Shooting on the move
• Last resort combatives
• Alternate shooting positions
• Running drills
• Movement to contact
• Multi-threat engagements

Equipment Needed:

• Pistol at least 9mm in caliber.
• Magazine pouch
• Three magazines
• Nylon or leather belt that fits through your pants belt loop
• Eye and ear protection
• Pistol cleaning gear/lube
• 400 rounds of ammunition
• Baseball hat or boonie style cover
• Water and snacks
• BDU style pants (NO shorts please)

**** There is a $40 range fee separate from Sierra Element's course fee.   The $40 fee will be collected at the beginning of the class and paid directly to the range. CASH ONLY PLEASE****
