Low Light Vehicle Pistol Combatives Course ($220)

The Low Light Vehicle Pistol Combatives Course is designed to give the shooter a set of solid handgun fundamentals. Every class instructed at Sierra Element starts with the proper mindset. The class concentrates on the 7 elements of marksmanship, balancing speed and accuracy under stress.

Prerequisites: Basic Firearms Fundamentals & Saftey

Course description:

The Low Light Vehicle Pistol Combatives Course is designed to give the shooter a set of solid handgun fundamentals while operating a vehicle during low light and no light conditions. Every course instructed at Sierra Element starts with the proper mindset. The course concentrates on the 7 elements of marksmanship, balancing speed and accuracy under stress.  This course will challenge shooters of all levels as we cover low light techniques that are currently being used in US and Foreign Law Enforcement/Military units.  

Instruction covered but not limited to:

  • Movement/Communication drills
  • Shooting from inside and outside of a vehicle
  • Low light seaching techniques
  • Ballistics
  • Running drills
  • Alternate shooting positions
  • Scenarios
  • Multi-threat engagements
  • Hand to hand combatives in day and low light

 

Equipment Needed:

  • Pistol at least 9mm in caliber.
  • Magazine pouch
  • Three magazines
  • Nylon or leather belt that fits through your pants belt loop
  • Eye and ear protection
  • Pistol cleaning gear/lube
  • 300 rounds of ammunition
  • Baseball hat or boonie style cover
  • Water and snacks
  • BDU style pants (NO shorts please)
  • Hand held flashlight
  • Weapon light (optional) 

**** There is a $25 range fee separate from Sierra Element's course fee.   The $25 fee will be collected at the beginning of the class and paid directly to the range. CASH ONLY PLEASE****
