Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) & Care Under Fire Pistol Course (Certificate awarded upon successful completion) OPEN TO ALL

The Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) program is based on the principles of Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) and meets the guidelines established by the Committee on Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (Co-TECC). This course teaches civilian tactical medical procedures and is instructed from a realistic manner that provides you the skills and mindset to manage casualties during high threat civilian tactical and rescue operations. This is a high-intensity course where you will be running, crawling, carrying heavy objects, moving casualties, and more. While not a “run and gun” course, this program does incorporate live fire training to simulate real-world scenarios.

  • Intro/History of TECC
  • Casualty Assessments 
  • Hemorrhage Control Techniques (TQ’s, Hemostatic Agents, etc.)
  • Airway Management
  • TECC Phases of Care
  • Tactical Medicine Priorities
  • Movement Under Fire
  • Medical Evacuation Considerations
  • Magazine drills
  • Bulls eye drills
  • Shooting from barricades
  • Alternate shooting positions
  • Movement drills
  • Qualification course 

Equipment Needed:

  • Pistol at least 9mm in caliber.
  • Magazine pouch
  • Three magazines
  • Nylon or leather belt that fits through your pants belt loop
  • Eye and ear protection
  • Pistol cleaning gear/lube
  • 150 rounds of ammunition
  • Baseball hat or boonie style cover
  • Water and snacks
  • BDU style pants (NO shorts please)
