Open Enrollment Staccato 2011 Pistol Course Level II ($300) Intermediate/Advanced Level

Open Enrollment "Staccato Certified" 2011 Pistol Course is designed to give the student a set of solid 2011 handgun fundamentals. Every class instructed at Sierra Element starts with the proper mindset, the class concentrates on the 7 elements of marksmanship, balancing speed and accuracy under stress with a pistol mounted optic or iron sights. The primary instructor will be the director of Staccato Law enforcement training Randy Tweedy.  Randy is a retired Deputy Sheriff with 25 years of service for the largest Sheriff’s Department in the world, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. He was a Full-Time Firearms Instructor in the Department’s Weapons Training Unit for 13 years.

 

Erik Wollin is a Deputy Sheriff with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department that has been serving in the Departments Weapons Training Unit for the last 8 years. Prior to entering Law Enforcement, Erik served as a 

Paramilitary Contractor for various government agencies overseas. His military background includes service in both Conventional and Special Operations units.

 

Instruction covered but not limited to:

• Draw and presentation deconstruction drills
• Malfunctions drills
• Speed shooting drills
• Long range pistol shooting
• Timed drills
• Shooting and stopping drills
• Shooting from cover drills
• Running drills
• Multi-target engagements
• Care and cleaning 

Equipment Needed:

• Pistol with optic mounted at least 9mm in caliber 
• Magazine pouch
• Holster
• Three magazines
• Nylon or leather belt that fits through your pants belt loop
• Eye and ear protection
• Pistol cleaning gear/lube
• 500 rounds of factory ammunition
• Baseball hat or boonie style cover
• Water and snacks
• Pants (NO shorts please)

**** There is a $20 range fee separate from Sierra Element's course fee.   The $20 fee will be collected at the beginning of the class and paid directly to the range. CASH ONLY PLEASE****
