Tactical Courses
Basic Pistol Course for newer shooters ($250)
The Basic Pistol Course for newer shooters was designed to give the student a set of solid handgun fundamentals. Every course instructed at Sierra Element starts with the proper mindset. The course concentrates on the 7 elements of marksmanship, balancing speed and accuracy.
Instruction covered but not limited to:
- Marksmanship drills
- Malfunction drills
- Timed drills
- Care and cleaning
Equipment Needed:
- Pistol at least 9mm in caliber.
- Magazine pouch
- Three magazines
- No HOLSTERS NEEDED all shooting will take place from the bench
- Eye and ear protection
- Pistol cleaning gear/lube
- 250 rounds of ammunition
- Baseball hat or boonie style cover
- Water and snacks
- BDU style pants (NO shorts please)
***There are no refunds one month prior to the start of the course. Please check your availability prior to signing up. Your commitment is imperative.***
**** There is a $25 range fee separate from Sierra Element's course fee. The $25 fee will be collected at the beginning of the class and paid directly to the range. CASH ONLY PLEASE****
